Heavy Duty 90° Flap Separators for Maxim® Machines

The heavy duty flap separator upgrade kit replaces the smaller 1 or 2 inch-lb servo motor with higher torque, more robust 12 inch-lb servo brake motors and heavy duty right angle gear boxes.

Key Features and Benefits:

• Increased performance –larger torque servo motors increase reliability of flap separation and reduce carton jams.
• Extended carton material capabilities –more tolerant to board variations and more easily handles thicker fiberboard and corrugated cartons.  The vertical motor position supports wider range of flat blanks.
• Increased productivity – faster and more reliable changeovers.  Retained separator position during e-stop and open guard conditions result in fewer jams on restart.
