Rotary Belt Compression Update for Maxim® Machines
This Rotary Belt Compression replaces the existing set of 6 static compression rails with a pre-assembled set of 4 rotary compression belts. The compression belts are mounted on extruded aluminum and stainless frame work. They are backed by a low pressure chain with rollers. Behind the chain is compressible tubing which allows the belts to compress 3/16” and apply even pressure across the whole package. The belts are each 3.5” wide, which will cover a wide array of glue patterns.
Key Features and Benefits
- Belts are non-driven making maintenance minimal since the belts rotate as the package is driven through compression by the transport
- Eliminates static material rubbing against the sides of the package, which minimizes package marking and/or graphics misalignment.
- The top belt of the assemblies can be designed to pivot in order to match the angle of gabled style cartons.
- Belts are wide so they cover more glue patterns without adjustments
